Greetings from "James & Ernie", Native American comedy team from the Navajo Nation. We are the first Navajo stand up comedy duo and "We're serious about being funny!" thank you for taking the time to read this short introduction. Like most people we enjoy the good things in life, one of which is humor and laughter beyond our control. We like humor so much that most of the time we are "two dudes in good moods! We're Native boys making some noise! We're brown and round, we're Indian guys with Fry bread thighs! We're"...oh sorry...got carried away for a moment. Basically we love to make people laugh until it hurts!

    And our shows are designed to do just that! Our goal is to give our audiences fun filled, gall bladder bustin, humor packed performance! Our comedy material originates from our own life experiences growing up on the Rez, ranging from our childhood days of playing in the dirt at Grandmas, to our teen years trying to be someone we're not and on into our hickey filled adulthood experiences that include topics related to relationships, shopping at Wal-Mart, our drinking days, and many other Rez life topics.

    The exciting and bold use of an array of music, dance and props, adds another dimension to this hilarious spectacle of humor! All these elements together make the "J & E" experience an all out assault on at least two of your five senses as well as your gall bladder...if you have one!

    We, James and Ernies, also incorporate and promote a healthy life style choice of saying "No" to alcohol, drugs and domestic violence. We achieve this important message by sharing our past history as former substance abusers and at times by performing a short and dramatic skit entitled "Addicted".

    "Emotionally Powerful!" "A form of prevention and intervention." "I laugh and I cried!" These are a few comments by people who have experienced a "J & E" performance. Their words describe the unique style of humor, personal testimonies and over all show that we have to offer.
